Sensory & Accessibility Tips for Your Visit
Mall of America® and Crayola Experience have partnered with Fraser, a Minnesota nonprofit organization that provides programs, supports, and resources for individuals with autism, neurodiverse conditions, mental and behavioral health needs, and disabilities. Our shared goal is to ensure that individuals with sensory sensitivities, neurodivergence, disabilities, anxiety, or other support needs can enjoy a welcoming and comfortable experience.
Sensory Resources
Crayola Experience provides several resources to help guests plan a comfortable visit:
- Staff trained in sensory awareness to support guests with neurodiverse conditions or sensory sensitivities.
- Sensory guides for each attraction, highlighting factors such as sound, light, and tactile stimulation, helping families plan activities that suit their needs.
- Designated calmer areas where guests can take a break from stimulation in a comfortable environment.
- Availability of sensory aids, such as noise-canceling headphones, fidgets, and weighted items, to enhance comfort.
For more information, speak with any Crayola Experience team member or contact Guest Services at 952-883-8800 or crayola.experience@moa.net.
